A range, not a national average
Family-run boarding in Switzerland often sits between CHF 50 and CHF 90 per day. Overnight stays, group size, pick-up and whether arrival days count change the total.
What Pfoten-Pfad charges
- Holiday care / boarding: CHF 60 per day, CHF 90 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
- Night: CHF 30 per night, in addition to the day rate — a single night is also booked as holiday care
- Arrival and departure days count as a full day; with pick-up by 12:00 noon the departure day counts as a half day (CHF 40, or CHF 60 on Sat/Sun/public holidays)
- A discount applies from the second dog of the same owner
- Pick-up: CHF 10 plus CHF 2/km per trip

Easy-to-miss extras
Food provided by us, collection from Uster or Wetzikon, and a night before departure change the sum. A week away is not simply 7 × 60.
